Paul Schimpf, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, is a Principled, Qualified and Proven Leader for Illinois

By Retired Marine Col. Larry Kaifesh

Illinois Republican candidate for Governor Paul Schimpf (in the June 28, 2022 Primary Elections) shared his vision for the state earlier this week with voters in McHenry County, as well as his plan to beat failed incumbent Democrat Governor JB Pritzker.

Schimpf relayed some of the core issues that really are activating motivation in voters this election cycle, including Parental Rights, School Choice, and of course LESS TAXES. Check out the grassroots video captured at the Cary, Illinois (McHenry County, Ill.) event featuring Schimpf with fellow Conservative voters hungry for leadership who will advocate for liberty and abide by the U.S. Constitution.

As a long-time advocate for all of Schimpf's campaign issues, his dedication to defend the U.S. Constitution, and running a very principled and Illinois-centric campaign for the gubernatorial race for over a year now, we are offering our public endorsement of the Schimpf for Governor campaign in the Illinois Republican Primary. Watch Endorsement Here.

Schimpf served in the U.S. Marine Corps, participated in the trial of Saddam Hussein, and was the Republican nominee for Illinois Attorney General in 2014. To visit his 2022 gubernatorial campaign website click here: https://www.schimpf4illinois.com/

He is an American lawyer and former Republican member of the Illinois Senate from the 58th district from 2017 to 2021. His voting record in the General Assembly is conservative.

Schimpf, the son of two school teachers, was born in 1971 at Scott Air Force Base and raised in Waterloo, Illinois. He was the valedictorian of his high school senior class and was a National Merit Scholar. Schimpf attended the United States Naval Academy – passing an engineering scholarship offer at the University of Illinois – and Southern Illinois University School of Law.
