I have some very important news to share with you that will require a little assistance on your behalf. Just today, January 13, 2022, the U.S. House of Representatives controlled by the Democrats voted on a piece of legislation that will dramatically affect future elections if passed. The Democrats just voted to have the Federal Government take over our elections in order to ensure they control every election moving forward. (I will be on Conservative Daily Podcast on Friday, Jan 14, 2021 to Discuss this and Other Weighing Issues Attacking our Constitution, so be sure to tune-in.)
The Democrats took two dangerous election-oriented bills, HR 1 - Freedom to Vote Act and HR 4 - John Lewis Voting Rights Act, and created a love child between the two, but then tucked the details of the bill into a gutted-out old NASA Bill focusing on property leasing authority, in order to hide the dirty details and send it to the Senate for a vote. This deliberate and disingenuous tactic to create a lethal Trojan horse to American Democracy says everything you need to know about the Democrat Party of today. Inside this disguised NASA Bill, are several measures that would decimate any chance of having a fair election moving forward. Regardless of party or persuasion it is imperative, every American support an honest and transparent election process.
The most devastating elements of the bill are as follows: I. The bill would strip away the state’s rights to request voter IDs, the surest way to ensure voter integrity. II. The bill would prevent states from banning ballot harvesting. Ballot harvesting is when third party groups are paid by political entities and parties to harvest ballots and turn them in. Ballot harvesting is a breeding ground for fraud and abuse and should never be allowed. III. The bill would allow non-citizens to vote. This is why the border has been left wide open under the Biden administration for the last year and 1.7 million non-citizens were allowed in the country, this year will be even worse. These non-citizens have been spread throughout the country under the cover of darkness in government contracted busses and planes. IV. Most egregiously, this bill ensures public financing of campaigns on a 6 to 1 match. This means any candidate getting less than a $200 donation, will be matched by public financing coming from the American tax-payers. For example: a. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York, raised $21 Million last election cycle, of which $19 million came in the form of donations smaller than $200. With this new bill, it would mean that the American tax-payers would be on the hook for $114 million added to the campaign. Any candidate with that type of money, would never leave office, which is already a problem. The Democrats say they are for taking money out of the election process, but this would do the exact opposite and add exponentially more money into the process with the American tax-payers holding the bill.
However, this is what the Democrats do, say one thing and then do the exact opposite. This bill would ensure the population is dependent upon and controlled by the government. All the programs the Democrats are pushing are not hand ups, but instead designed to ensure the population is committed to a life of servitude and stuck in poverty. Just look at the last year and how many businesses have gone out of business! And with inflation, wealth has been robbed from the American citizen, targeting the middle-class and struggling families in our country. The horrendous Bill passed the House today and is now going to the Senate. Since the Senate does not have the votes, this means the only way this can get passed is if Sen. Chuck Schumer blows up the filibuster. The Democrats want to blow up the filibuster, even though they used it as recently as 2020, 323 times. But now they hate the filibuster.
Sen. Chuck Schumer had this to say about the filibuster in 2005: “Bottom line is very simple: The ideologues in the Senate want to turn what the Founding Fathers called ‘the cooling saucer of democracy’ into the rubber stamp of dictatorship. We will not let them. They want, because they can’t get their way on every judge, to change the rules in mid-stream, to wash away 200 years of history. They want to make this country into a banana republic, where if you don’t get your way, you change the rules. Are we going to let them? It’ll be a doomsday for democracy if we do.” This is what Sen. Chuck Schumer said in 2005, when he successfully argued that Republicans should not change the Senate’s filibuster rules to get their way. Now that Democrats have the Senate majority, with him as their leader, he’s arguing strenuously for sidelining the filibuster to “wash away 200 years of history.” In order to help ensure the filibuster is not eliminated, ushering in a “doomsday for democracy,” it is imperative to call both of your Senators by getting their Washington DC office number at SENATE.GOV.
Call your two Senators and tell them you want them to vote NO on the Senate Voting Reform Bill and the filibuster to stay in place. Tell them you DO NOT want our elections to be federalized, nor do you want politicians taking away the power of the states and its people! When you call the Senator’s Washington DC office, give them your name, telephone number and email and be sure to let them know that you want a response. This is important, in order to get a response, you have to tell them you want a response and provide them the method of communication.
In summary, WE want our Constitutional Elections as our Founding Fathers envisioned them, with the States determining the time and manner in which they are conducted. Never was it the intent for the Federal Government to be as intrusive in our lives as to run local elections while providing candidates public financing.
